I'm in Love
This week I'm working 5 shifts, that's a 60 hour work week! Let's hope I survive. I just figure that I should work as much as I can while I'm feeling good, especially with all the stuff I need to buy for the baby and with the holidays and travel and all coming up. Today is my day off, and I'm contemplating cleaning my house, but will probably end up making baby stuff instead. I'm alittle obsessed. Pictures of that later...Tuesday, September 23, 2008
21 Weeks
Little foot
Arms and Hands
Profile (so cute!)
Mouth and Nose
I love this little girl so much already. We just sit in amazement everyday and watch my stomach move. It's the weirdest feeling to know there's a living thing inside me. The other day JD had an epiphany- he says, "I can't believe we're gonna have to feed her and teach her how to talk and do all those things!" It made me remember that guys don't grow up playing with dolls. Cute.Monday, September 22, 2008

Payson Lakes

It was so pretty the next day as we thawed out. The Runia's came up for the day to fish and hang out at the lake.
They brought their sweet blow up boat, but didn't have much luck with the fishing. Oh well, we still had fun. We were planning on having some more friends come up Saturday night, but decided we'd all be freezing and miserable, so we went home and slept like babies in our nice warm bed.
Want Me One of These

19 Weeks and growing!
Made this hairbow holder for my friend Kaitlin's nursery. Can't wait for that little baby girl!
Made this yesterday for my baby girl. I'm already getting obsessed with the endless possibilities of accessorizing her! I need a sewing machine desperately.

Cry Baby

Anyways, I've been working everyday the last week, but I promise one of these days I'll post my latest pictures. Yesterday I transferred both of my patients out, so I got to leave work early and go to the BYU game. It was so fun to hang out with our friends, but I honestly felt alittle out of place there. It was also very hot, the game was slow, and I had to unbutton my jeans for the first time. Yep, the belly's growing. It's weird being so out of control with my body growing. I've pretty much had the same body for a long time, and I have to admit it's a little freaky experiencing the change. But it's amazing and wonderful at the same time because I know my baby's growing inside me. I'm so happy right now, so don't think the tears are sad ones. They just happen.

Drumroll...
and these:
and don't forget these:
and she'll have to have at least one of these:
and it won't be too long before she'll need a few of these:
Yep, it's a GIRL! I'm still in total shock because I was convinced it was a boy. Now I know never to trust my instincts and 95% sure feelings! We are beyond excited and can't wait for her to be here. I'm having to totally change my mindset to girly things, but it's not going to be hard. (Well, maybe alittle hard on the bank account :) But it's so fun! This past week I've started to feel her moving, and it's the best feeling. I love her little nudges and flutterings. It's becoming so real and I can't wait to be a mom.
p.s.- I just got home from the best week in Lake Powell and California. I live for spending time with my family. I love each and every one of them so much. It was also so fun to see some of my bestest friends who I never get to see. Hopefully I can post some pictures soon.
