Independence Day

This year we celebrated the 4th of July in Coronado with the Whites. I'd forgotten how much I love this holiday because I've worked it the last couple of years. We had a blast- eating, riding bikes to the beach, playing games, eating some more, and watching fire works. I love this picture of three things I love so much.My beautiful sister-in-laws

"Quirky, Charming, Vivid, Witty"

Read this! I just finished it and absolutely loved it. It is a story about the tiny English Channel island of Guernsey during World War II. It's written entirely in letters, and it is definitely one of the most charming books I've read in a while. It made me want to pick up some classics and join a bookclub.

Lately...

This is where we've been spending a lot of our time... Daddy's been working long days, but we love when he gets to hang out with us...

Maddie's getting taller every day...

Papa loves coming home to this baby...

And turning into a little diva...Sammy and Kami came down to test out her amazing new stroller...
And Maddie made it clear that she was ready to start rice cereal!!!

Other news: I got a job as an ER nurse, starting next week. Tonight we're making bows and clippies for the girls. I'm trying to make an effort cooking dinner. Got our 4th of July outfits and we're ready to play on Coronado Island on Saturday. That's about it!

5 Months

Reunited

Last week I got to go to lunch with some of my bestest friends. Some of these girls I've known since middle school, some I met in college, but we were all in the same dorms freshman year at BYU. It's crazy that we're all in Southern California right now. We went to BJ's Pizza and updated each other about our lives. Can't wait to hang out again!

Oh, and Maddie finally got to meet her auntie Sarah, of course!
