instagram

Both my kids are sound asleep taking naps. It's a miracle! This has happened maybe once or twice before in 6 months. It feels good. Anyway, here are my favorite pics from this summer and fall. Oh how I love instagram and my iphone!

My two little angels. I'm obsessed.

We made it to Disneyland as much as we could when we weren't blacked out. It really is so much more fun with kids!
Pure joy.

Spent the day with some of my besties in the city. Love these girls. Always have, always will.
Lots and lots of swinging.
My boy. (I think he looks like me).
Off to a Princess Party!

Cute hubby's 29th Birthday. Are we really that old?
Chompers in. Biting me has stopped...for now.

My little cabbage patch kid sits up all by himself now!

Project from another thing I love.

Ballerina. Such a girly girl. Where did she come from? I was such a tomboy!

Proving that horizontal stripes do make you look thinner!

Last but not least- The reason I love my life. I get to do what I love and haul these two cuties around with me wherever I go.

Italy+Family=Heaven

Last night as I was falling asleep, for some reason I kept having different images come into my mind of moments when we were in Italy. Each image brought with it a different feeling, but mostly they made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. They made me feel grateful that I was able to spend 11 days in one of the most breathtaking places in the world with some of my favorite people. It's sad that it was almost 4 months ago and I'm just now blogging about it, but I'm finding very little time for the poor blog lately. Lately I find myself choosing to spend more time living my life and less time documenting it. I wish there was time to do both! So I will let the pictures do most of the talking. Words and even pictures won't do the trip justice, so I'll just hold on to my warm fuzzy feelings I get when I go back to heaven in my mind.
Our Villa
We shared it with the Harns (more favorite people!)

Pisa

Yes there were phallic pictures taken. I'll refrain from posting those. And yes I nursed my 8 week old baby anywhere and everywhere. I even learned how to do it on the go!

Lucca

The city our villa was in. Lovely. Needed another day to explore.

Cinque Terre

Second trip was even better than the first. Definitely one of my top places to be. It is so beyond gorgeous. Definitely going back someday! Swimming in the Meditteranean was my highlight.

San Gimingnano and Volterra

Two medieval cities in Tuscany. The mix of modern and ancient was awesome.

Florence

Amazing city. Eric studied art there so he made sure we hit all the must see sites. Even Bryce and JD were awed by Michaelangelo's David. Enough said.

Venice

Stroller+409 Bridges=Poor Combination. Gondola ride well worth it though!

Siena

Palio. Look it up on youtube. Insanity and so glad we witnessed it!

Rome

Last day. Bad idea. Very tired. Still amazing.

Our last night all together in Italy we ate dinner outside at a quaint little restaurant. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, my baby slept like an angel like he did most of the trip, and the conversation was delightful. We each went through and told our highlights and lowlights and exchanged gifts that we'd bought each other. (My dad's game). The Italian way rubbed off a little on us and we took our time. It was the perfect ending to our trip and one of the best nights of my life.

So there's the abreviated version of a trip I'll never forget! Ah. Feels good to have that blogged. Now maybe I can move forward and keep up! Don't count on it.
